RC.6 Documentation revision 18

ait queue

Read a compact inventory of active work, reviews, remotes, and worktree health.

Audience: Users and coding agents

Role#

Safe for the user or coding agent when orienting active local and remote work.

Purpose#

ait queue is a read-only inventory composed from Tasks, Changes, workspace, worktrees, reviews, and configured remote state. It does not own a separate lifecycle queue.

Syntax#

Code · bash
ait queue summary --all-changes
ait queue summary --all-changes --json

Example#

Code · bash
ait queue summary --all-changes

The compact text result reports shared Tasks, ready candidates, review inbox, local drafts, workspace changes, and worktree hygiene.

Output#

--all-changes enriches the active inventory with nonterminal remote Changes. Any ready indication is orientation evidence; use ait task audit or the guided workflow surface before mutation.

Failure and recovery#

A remote read error can appear beside otherwise valid local inventory. Keep the error visible, check the configured remote and server health, and avoid treating missing remote rows as completed work.
